Gaspar wonder strike gives Spain deserved win

A wonder goal from right-back Mario Gaspar gave Spain the win over England in an uninspiring display by the three lions. Santi Cazorla added a second late on (a hint of offside) to give England what they deserved, a defeat.

There were no goals in a first half dominated by Spanish possession. Even when the three lions got the ball the final product was awful and passing accuracy was dreadful. Diego Costa and Marca Barta had the best chances for the Spanish and Barkley had a good chance for England, but scuffed it.

The second half continued much the same, Spanish domination and no goals. Then in the 72nd minute right-back Mario passed it infield to Fabregas, carried on his run and as Fabregas played a chipped ball through he brilliantly volleyed it over Hart into the bottom corner. Then in the 84th minute, a sloppy clearance from Hart was intercepeted by Nolito who passed it to Cazorla and the Arsenal man slotted home.

Northern Ireland beat Latvia 1-0 thanks to a Steven Davis goal.

Wales lost an entertaining match to Holland with Robben scoring twice.

In the play off game between Rep.of.Ireland and Bosnia-Hersgovina a Robbie Brady goal gave Ireland the lead before Dzeko equalised late on.

A very boring International break as always with injuries the main winner, roll on Premier League!!!
